Dear friends,
Congratulations! Thanks to you, Golden Good Girls is not only happening, it’s happening in a big way. Together, we raised $5,418, nearly 400% of our initial funding goal!
Thanks to your enthusiastic support for this project, the Golden Good Girls game book will be a slick, glossy, perfect-bound book full of bonus content and original illustrations by Ava Eerie inspired by real-life good girls! We didn’t quite hit our $6K stretch goal, but we got so close that Brigitte is going to write rules for Psychic Trash Detectives/Golden Good Girls crossover games anyway!
We are aiming for a spring fulfillment timeline for this project, and we’ll be in touch before then with folks who purchased pet portraits to request photos of your best girls.
In the meantime, for those of you who are new to the Scryptid Games community, welcome! We hope you’ll consider joining our email list and hanging out with us on Discord, Instagram, and Facebook as we bring Golden Good Girls to life. Dear friends,
This is it! The Golden Good Girls campaign ends tomorrow morning. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for all of your support and enthusiasm for this project.
Scryptid Games is a small–but mighty–new indie game company, and this Kickstarter included a lot of firsts for us: our first summer campaign, our first sequel game, and our first time hyping a second project within one calendar year.
We are overwhelmed by the support we’ve received so far, and we are still crossing our fingers that we'll reach our next stretch goal in the final hours of this campaign.
If we hit $6,000 before the campaign ends, Brigitte is going to write rules for Golden Good Girls / Psychic Trash Detectives crossover games! While both are standalone TTRPGs, imagine a psychic trash mystery set in Shady Pines at night…
So if you’ve been meaning to increase your pledge to a higher reward level or include an add-on, now is the time to make your move! All you have to do is visit the Kickstarter and select “Manage Your Pledge.” We still have four pet portraits available for purchase at the “Picture it! Sicily…” and “The Whole Dang Cheesecake” reward levels, as well as a small handful of rescued old lady clutches full of candy treats at the “Best in Show Off” level.
And our add-ons range from t-shirts, to pet bandana collars, to two different delightful sticker packs featuring Ava Eerie’s canon characters for Psychic Trash Detectives and Golden Good Girls!

Oops! Kickstarter just informed us that raffles are prohibited during campaigns. Unfortunately, we will need to end the raffle that we announced earlier today. This was a miss on our part, and we are sorry for the mistake.

We are officially in the final few days of this campaign–it ends Tuesday morning–and you’ve not only ensured that this project will definitely happen, you’ve also blown through our first few stretch goals. Congrats!
As a thank you, we are doing something bold to celebrate this final campaign weekend: A RAFFLE!
Between now and the close of the campaign, anyone who makes a new pledge or increases their pledge by ANY AMOUNT will be entered into a raffle to win one of our coveted pet portraits from Ava Eerie!!!

You read that correctly. If you increase your pledge by making an add-on purchase or an additional campaign donation of any amount, your real-life Golden Good Girl has a chance of being memorialized in the Golden Good Girls book (a $275 value!) You’ll receive a high-res digital version of your pet portrait, and the image will be featured as a spot illustration in all Golden Good Girls digital and physical books. Remember, all pet species and genders are welcome! We love golden good snakes and hermit crabs just as much as dogs and cats.
All you have to do is visit the Golden Good Girls Kickstarter and select “Manage Your Pledge” to purchase an add-on or make an additional donation. We’ll randomly select and announce one winner after the campaign closes Tuesday.

Golden Good Girls is hounding up new backers left and right as the campaign continues into its final week and a half.
Thanks your support, we just passed stretch goal 4, which will fund a slightly higher page count for the book, and allow us to commission more memory prompts for flashbacks and pre-gen non-player characters. 
We're now within sight of stretch goal 5, and this one's key. At this milestone, Brigitte Winter will write rules for running a Psychic Trash Detectives/Golden Good Girls Crossover game!
Will the campaign be that golden? Well, that depends on you...
For the pet caretakers out there who also love roleplaying, we couldn't resist debuting a special new add on. This beautiful bandana collar is for golden good girls of all genders and species who want to appear stylish and elegant while out on their daily walks.
